Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
1. Introduction
Ben's Corner Books LLC ("Stackd," "we," "us," or "our") operates Stackd, a software tool that helps Amazon FBA booksellers scan, price, and list inventory to Amazon (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with. By using Stackd, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you create a Stackd account, we collect your email address and a password, stored securely through our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text.
Inventory and listing data. Information you enter or that is generated while using the Service, including ISBNs, book titles, authors, prices, conditions, condition notes, and SKUs.
Shipment data. Box dimensions, weight, and carrier or tracking information you provide when building an Amazon FBA shipment.
Settings and preferences. Your SKU prefix, default listing condition, pricing rules, saved box dimensions, and saved condition note templates.
Photos. If you use the camera scanner to identify a book, the photo you capture is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to identify the book's ISBN, title, and author. We do not separately store these photos after the scan is complete.
Amazon Seller account data. When you connect your Amazon Seller account, Stackd accesses your Amazon catalog, pricing, and listings data via Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API), solely to perform the actions you request — such as looking up a book, creating a listing, or building a shipment.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
- Operate the core features of the Service — scanning, pricing, listing, and shipment creation
- Maintain your account and preferences
- Communicate with you about your account or the Service
- Improve and troubleshoot the Service
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who We Share Information With
We share information with the following third-party service providers, solely as necessary to operate the Service:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Amazon Selling Partner API — to look up catalog and pricing data and submit listings and shipments on your behalf, as you direct
- Keepa — to retrieve price history; only a product identifier (ASIN) is sent, no personal information
- Anthropic (Claude API) — to process photos you submit through the camera scanner
- Stripe (in the future) — once subscription billing is enabled, Stripe will process your payment information directly; Stackd does not store your full card details
Each of these providers has its own privacy practices governing the data they process on our behalf.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account and inventory data for as long as your account is active, so your listing history remains available to you. We do not currently offer a fully automated "delete my account" tool. If you would like your account or personal data deleted, contact us at support@stackdlister.com and we will process your request.
6. Your Rights & Choices
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us. You may stop using the Service at any time; disconnecting your Amazon account will stop Stackd from accessing your Amazon data going forward.
7. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
8. Children's Privacy
Stackd is not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under the age of 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
